It’s time for camp! The dates for Junior 4-H Camp (Grades 4, 5, and 6 as of 1/1/26) have been set for May 25-29, 2026 at Greeneville, TN.
The cost of Junior Camp will be $330.00. To sign up for camp, simply fill out this application correctly and completely and mail it along with
payment to the Monroe County Extension Office (the address is below). You can pay the full amount, or payment plans are available.
A $110 deposit is REQUIRED at time of registration to reserve your spot. (NON-REFUNDABLE after April 25, 2026)
Payment types: Cash, Check, Money Order, Debit or Credit Card. (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards ONLY).

Sign-ups for camp will begin on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and will continue first come, first
serve until the deadline on May 6, 2026 or until all spots are filled. Refunds can be obtained until
May 6 (minus the deposit). NO REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN AFTER MAY 6, 2026 FOR ANY REASON.
The following payment plans are suggested:

There are a limited number of partial scholarships available.

Need help finding our office?

We are located in the JP Kennedy Building (County Clerk’s Office) in Madisonville. We are located in the basement of the building, around the back, facing the Madisonville Police Department. Look for a set of steps with an awning and sign that says UT Extension. We are closed daily from 12:00pm – 1:00pm.

2026 Junior High 4-H Camp – Survivor Camp

4-H Jr. High Adventure Camp is for older youth who are in 7th & 8th grades. This resident camp is Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville and offers adventure-type and active engaged programming, with an emphasis on individual development and group dynamics through special interest groups and team challenges. Activities may include fishing, nature hikes, canoeing, swimming, shooting sports, T-shirt airbrushing, survivor challenges, and more.
A limited number of half scholarships will be available through our office.
Once you sign up for camp, you will be mailed a letter with additional information containing items to bring and not to bring to camp, departure, and arrival information, money for concessions, etc… as well as a 600A medical form to be returned to us before leaving for camp.

Tennessee 4-H Electric Camp
(Grades 6, 7, & 8 as of 1/1/2026)

4-H Electric Camp is a fun-filled, rewarding adventure in electricity. You will explore the world of energy, electricity, energy conservation, electrical safety, and other basic sciences in fun-filled, “hands-on” learning activities.
You will work with electrical specialists from across the state in learning centers. Each learning center will consist of hands-on activities to learn by doing. You will also have the chance to meet other 4-H’ers from across Tennessee and explore careers in energy, electricity, and basic sciences. It’s an electrifying experience! This camp is for youth grades 6, 7 and 8 as of January 1 of the current calendar year. The theme for 2025 is “Energizing Every Moment”.
